How to Read a Town Budget:
The first column is "budgeted" -- what the voters approved in the town budget to spend in 2014. The second column is "actual" which is what the town actually spent on each budget line. The third column is the percentage of the budgeted amount spent. The fourth column is the proposed budget for 2015. Note: the percentage next to the salt shed line (the second line down) should actually read 1,207%
